The future of European cities must be a smart one. This emphasis and cities’ growing role as the engines of Europe’s competitiveness can be clearly seen also in the plans of the forthcoming programming period 2021-2027. But what is the role of digital transformation in smart city development? Are internet of things (IoT), interoperability and data management success factors in building better cities for European citizens? How do these factors help Helsinki and other European cities to become the most functional cities in the world?
Come and join the high level seminar organized by the City of Helsinki on 1st of October to learn and discuss cities’ digital transformation in the field of interoperability, sustainability, IoT and data management. The event will be linked to the Finnish EU Presidency themes.
